though I don't think she really knew what it was. When it did materialise as a bed, she was very excited and spent the next half an hour playing on it.It's nap time at the moment and I'm waiting
for the door to her room to open and a little face to peak out. So far (30 minutes in) this hasn't happened. I'm pleasantly surprised but not holding my breath. It would be something of a miracle for her not to want to explore instead of sleep. We might be lucky and get a really easy transition with no wandering - keep your fingers crossed for us!

What a big girl! So how did the rest of the nap go? I guess we'll be doing the same thing in just a few months!
Well, she didn't come out of her room (yeah) but it was a short nap. It's now the next morning and she has slept through the night and hasn't come out. Either she's really suited to it or she fell out, banged her head and has been lying unconscious all night! I'll go and check in a moment. ;)
Haha ... by the way she was jumping in that picture that little scenario is seems like a possiblity! Just kidding! I can't believe she is already in a big girl bed! Yea for Beth! :) How is she navigating the stairs?
Hmm, not as well as the bed! She did a very good acrobatic display from top to bottom earlier in the week but that doesn't seem to have put her off. Think that lots of practice on her bum is in order.
So...now that it's been a while, how is Beth doing with the bed? Sleeping as long as she was in the crib?
