A Binky-Free Boy!

We are happy to report that for the last few weeks Toby has been binky free. We noticed that his teeth were starting to suffer (along with the fact that soon he'll be two and it's rather obscene to see older kids wandering about with one) so it was confiscated. He was surprisingly calm about it. He asked for it a few times but seems to accept that 'D' has gone for good. This is a pic of his lovely smile . . . binky free. :)

Beth has started going to dance classes (ballet and tap) and seems to enjoy it though she wants all the gear. After the first class she said she liked it but didn't want to go again. When I questioned her a bit more it seems she didn't want to be left out and wanted the outfit, the pretty pink ballet shoes and the cool red tap shoes. So far we've got the outfit but are still working on the shoes. I see this getting expensive, especially at the rate she grows (anyone want to sponsor a future dance star???)!

Next week we're off for a few days holiday to Centerparcs - we went this time last year and thought we'd try it again since both kids were sick. Hopefully the weather will be lovely for us . . .

Toby is so cute it is ridiculous. (So is Beth, but not in the same toddler way anymore since she's such a little lady!)

Yay for Toby! That is an accomplishment. Enjoy your holiday--I am jealous. Seems like the Makepeace family enjoys lots of adventurous getaways! When you coming back to CA?

Those two look like they're plotting something. They're cute together.
